As part of the redesign of the Lincoln Center Campus, the Milstein Bridge, with its massive footprint casting broad shadows as it spanned 65th Street to connect The Juilliard School and the Rose Building to the South Campus at “podium level”, simply had to be removed. The new 80 foot span bridge reinstates the vital pedestrian podium level connection between the two institutions with a minimum intervention into the streetscape.
